Centro Mallqui, through EcoMallqui, promotes gardens with native plants and reforestation. The private reserve of "Las Palmas" is located in Ipana in the district of San Cristobal del Yeso in the province of Luya in Amazonas. A forest of Ceroxylon palms is protected, and enables the preservation of many different species of orchids and a myriad of other native plants.

This ecological reserve allows the return of native plants to the area.
